After many years experience in both Pilates Mat and Reformer and reaping the many benefits from Pilates, in 2009 Lizanne Barry Trained as an Instructor herself, becoming a qualified STOTT Pilates Instructor (Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Mat) studying under Dani Gonzales and Joseph Mc Carthy from STOTT PILATES . Lizanne is also Trained in TOTAL BARRE and ZEN-GA.
Lizanne Barry 's classes are both fun and functional, using many props including Foam Rollers, Thera bands, Balance Cushions, Fitness Circles, Zenga Balls , Stability Balls, Pilates Small Balls, Gliders, Toning weights and more .
"My goal is to make classes functional , fun and interesting , sharing my own personal love of Pilates and drive to learn more about how our bodies perform and can benefit from exercise , by bringing Pilates into our daily lives and activities .
I am Constantly updating my knowledge and practice and attend regular STOTT Pilates workshops and workshops offered by other Pilates Brands ,both here and abroad .
I am involved with the "Pilates Anytime " Community , a gateway into a wealth of Pilates Workouts / forums and learning with not just STOTT trained Instructors but world renowned Instructors from BASI, Balanced Body, Romana Pilates, Fletcher Pilates, polestar and many more ."
When not teaching her Pilates Clients , you'll most probably find Lizanne in the pool , on the tennis court, practising yoga or out on her bike.
